Owner traded this in for his new 2019 NSX. I assume the owner either took their orange NSX or that 1 of 2 Nordic Grey NSX they got

I wonder if this was a straight up trade.

i could be wrong, but that was not the right trade to make. 9 /10 would keep the original NSX

I wanted to see how much they were asking for it, but it’s not on their website.

Maybe they’re gonna put it on BaT and let it get to a gajillion.

I somewhat regret not making a terrible financial decision and trying to stretch my budget to buy an early NSX 10-15 years ago. Before the 90's nostalgia insanity began, there was a time when high mileage (say, 70-90k) early NSX’s could be had for well under $40K. A few friends of mine that were in their 30's instead of in their 20's like I was at the time bought them at the time . Even accounting for maintenance, picking one up then probably would’ve turned out to be a fantastic investment.

I doubt it; that 91 has 46k on it so no way its worth a new one

Based on the pics, it doesn’t look like he ever drove the original one. So at least it’s not sitting in storage anymore! (I’d love to see how many miles it has)

Edit: I stand corrected....at least 43,000 miles at last sale in 2018.  F ive owners and one accident.

Just saw that it was listed at $54k obo last summer. Looks pretty clean for that mileage and at least 4 or 5 owners , I didn’t think it had more than 15k based on the pics.

Never trust the CL pics!!!!

If I was the dealer and had money to spare, I would keep it as a show room piece.

As someone has said, it has 5 owners and 1 accident it won’t be worth the $1 00k examples but damn those cars have a aura/presence about them

That store  has the money to make that a showroom piece, but their corporate overlords won’t let them

Parts were way more expensive than your average Honda, but I loved it all the same. 80k miles used to be an easy sell in the mid 30's for multiple years , up until about 2014.

Even with all the parts I had to buy (including, but not limited to, A/C rebuild, heater replacement, starter, exhaust, intake, clutch, audio head unit + amp ) with some stuff for 91's not not plain available any longer through official sources, I still made a little money off of it when I lost it and the insurance paid out.

We’re sitting on a 91 #300 at DCH Tustin right now. I wish I could convince them to keep it, but we’re selling it for $57k

I don't like black interiors, but in this case I'll make an exception.

I agree, the old NSX will be worth more in just a few years too.
